My name is Courtney,

I am a senior at Carnegie Mellon University studying design and engineering. 

I make and enjoy work that revolves around the user. I believe design is a tool to change, improve, understand, and experience a story. 






At Carnegie Mellon you'll find me scribbling on post-its in studio, typing away in a cafe, or studying for my biomedical engineering minor. This year I am currently bouncing between Pittsburgh and New York.

Working with seven graduate-level engineering students to design
and prototype a novel device to improve diabetes-related wound care.

 Carnegie Mellon iGEM | May 2014 - November 2016
Collaborated with six stem students for the world’s largest competition in synthetic biology. Led the team’s community outreach program by designing educational activities we used to teach over 300 students in local public schools.

Redesigned the retail store by integrating traditional shopping experiences with in-house and personal technologies in order to simplify the finding and buying of merchandise.
